Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Saturday Lila and I went with Carole and Naomi to the NC Zoo! We had so much fun! The girls get along really well and love each other. Lila's favorite animal was the lion and I loved seeing the giraffes up close!


On the carousel- Lila chose the one yellow animal- a tree frog. Naomi was sweet enough to ride anything as long as it was next to Lila.




After playing, Carole treated us all to ice cream and the girls "hammed" it up for a photo shoot :)

All in all, a VERY fun but exhausting day with a couple of tantrums (by the little girls) but they did really well. We stayed for about 6 hours and then the girls slept on the way home.

***Oh, and don't worry that the daddies felt left out- they had "man time". They visited a local brewery, had free beer, went to an outdoor cafe, and played video games. Poor things ;) Next time THEY get the girls all day and us mommies get a day off! Haha, no, we all had a wonderful day :)
