Beach 2011

We took our first vacation as a family of four to Sunset Beach with the Christies. We had such a fun, relaxing time.

Lucas was still half asleep when he felt the ocean for the first time. He didn't mind it- in fact, I think he kind of liked it!

We took a walk on the pier one evening,

had hammock time,

and we had fun on the beach doing handstands, wheel barrel races, and frisbee toss.

We hung out under the house

and ate lots of good food,

We tried to get a good family photo on the beach but *someone* didn't want to cooperate....

Then Lila got ahold of the camera....

Awesome Aunt Carey and Uncle Dave took Lila for a canoe ride. They made her a soft seat in the middle.

Here's my gymnast practicing the balance beam.

Lila and I had some "girl time" while Lucas stayed at the house.
