BaBa's surprise!

Saturday night we took BaBa (Bob) out to celebrate his 65th birthday. Carey and Dave drove down from Baltimore to surprise him at dinner. They rode in our van with us and then we all piled out- boy, was Bob surprised! We tried a new restaurant and had a great time. We all wore crazy party hats (at least for a couple of minutes).

Then we went back to our house for some art, UNO, and enjoying each other's company (and cake).

Sunday night we joined Carey, Dave, Pat, and Bob at the Carrboro Music Festival and, even though we kept the kids out way too late, had a blast! The weather was perfect and the music was awesome.
