Lila and Naomi went swimming in the pool.

We had hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch- grilled by David! Then it was time for our neighborhood parade. Pat and Bob waited with David and Montana. The parade was led by a fire truck. Lila and Naomi insisted upon wearing their super hero costumes and tutus. They were the only kids not dressed in red, white, and blue- they are unique!

As we walked by our house, we dropped off the tricycles and walked the rest of the way. At the end of the parade, the fire truck was spraying water. The kids LOVED it!

Then we had lemonade and cupcakes in the park.

After all that excitement, Lila zonked out for a nap and we sat outside enjoying the day.
Eli came over later and David grilled chicken for us and a veggie burger for him.

Some down time with refreshing drinks and books.....

Then we attempted to go see fireworks. We got there too late and had to watch from far away so we only saw a few. NEXT YEAR we're gonna go and see a huge display- Lila will love it! Even though we only saw a few fireworks, Lila was a very happy girl.
