Tonight we headed to University Mall to do a little shopping and get out of the house. I talked up Santa the whole way over there and she seemed pretty upbeat and excited to see him. That is, until she actually saw him! There was no line (unlike at Southpoint Mall where they give you a pager and then make you come back after a long time and still stand in line). We walked right up, and Lila began clinging to David like a monkey. Oh well. No luck this year- maybe next year.
We had dinner at Chick Fil-A , and Lila only wanted to eat her fruit and chicken- not any of David's fries! It was MOST surprising! As she was eating her fruit cup, we were discussing the different types of fruits- oranges, apples, strawberries, and grapes. For some reason, I called them "baby raisins" (Lila called them baby ray-rays). It was funny (guess you had to be there).
