Fountain

We still need to go to the grocery store (my least favorite form of shopping- which is weird considering how much I like to eat) SO we went out for dinner tonight. David had worked all day and we missed him! We decided to go to Brixx for dinner, since it was such a nice evening and we could sit outside.

Lila fell asleep on the way there and stayed asleep until our main course arrived. It was very nice to have her asleep in my arms and be able to talk about "adult" things. Of course, the conversation always ended up about her.

She woke up when our pizzas arrived and she enjoyed some of mine- the americo (pepperoni) and the bread from my salad. After she ate, she colored with the crayons that came with the kids' meal. She did a great job coloring the front and back.

After we paid, we walked over to the fountain that she'd been eyeing since she woke up. She started off a little timid, but once she saw the other kids, she wanted to walk around the edge.


She thought she was so big- and she IS! I can't believe she's almost two years old.

Then we visited Trader Joe's and got some 3 buck Chuck (wine) and fresh produce.
