The NC Zoo!

This morning I somehow managed to get us all out of the house by 7:30 am so we could spend the day at the ZOO! We got there a little after 9 am, shortly after they opened.

Lila was excited!

Then we rode the tram to another part so we could eat lunch...


and ride the CAROUSEL! Lila chose to ride the lion.


After all that, we rode the tram to the North American part...


and saw seals, sea lions, polar bears, puffins, and arctic foxes.


There was still so much to see, but we were all hot and exhausted. We had a wonderful time and had seen enough to have a great visit! After a diaper change, change of clothes, a cold drink, and a snack, Lila zonked out! She slept the whole way home (and David dozed some as well).
