A great day- snow, no work, and a new president!

It doesn't get much better than this! We woke up to snow this morning and my boss called and said the office was closed. I couldn't go back to sleep, but we did take it easy this morning. We bundled up and went outside at about 10am- Lila was BEGGING to go out in the snow! It was really pretty and quiet outside. I love the way snow muffles noises. As you can tell, we aren't used to getting snow, and even the tiniest little bit is cause for celebration and business closings!

After coming inside, we watched the inauguration of Obama- truly a momentous occasion! It's so nice to be "snowed in" and not have anywhere to be other than home with each other.
