Sunday

This morning we went to the Eno River and "hiked" with Eli. Well, the adults walked and Lila alternated between walking and riding in the stroller. It was very difficult to maneuver the jogging stroller on the paths, so we kinda cut the expedition short, but we had fun nonetheless. David and Eil both had their cameras out, so Lila hammed it up.


After a GOOD nap, we headed over to Marie and Adam's house for Oliver's 2nd birthday party. He is such a little ladies man and so cute! Their house is beautiful and we had a wonderful time. Lila enjoyed decorating and eating a yummy cupcake!




Lila was very sweet to Nora, and put her arm around her as they were sharing the chair.


Then it was time to say goodbye to the birthday boy.


Came home, made tacos, David gave Lila a bath while I prepared dinner for tomorrow night, did 3 loads of laundry, and now I'm lying in bed, totally exhausted. What a fun day! It's so wonderful to be able to spend time together, as a family, with friends.
