Hector and the Pool!

This afternoon we went over to Hector's apartment complex (and actually the same apartment complex I lived in about 6 years ago) and we went to the pool for the first time this year. Michael (who also went to high school with David and Hector) and his fiance Brianna were there as well and we all had a LOT of fun.

After an initial reluctance, Lila quickly warmed up to the water (both literally and figuratively).

The forecast had been calling for storms all day, but luckily the weather was lovely until about 6 pm. We were thinking about leaving the pool and I heard thunder. Everybody got out and we packed up all our paraphernalia. No sooner had we made it to the steps at Hector's building and the BOTTOM dropped out! Wild winds, heavy rain....very strange weather! Luckily we were all safe. We bummed around Hector's apartment for a while until the "typhoon" passed and then we headed out for dinner.
Lila is such an easy going child- we didn't get home until 9:30 pm and with a few small exceptions, she was very good ALL day!!
